Hydes is an award-winning independent family pub retailer and brewer. Founded in 1863, we have remained an independent brewery in the North West of England and North Wales ever since. With over 160 years of successful retailing and brewing, we could not have become the organisation we are today, without the passion and talent of our incredible people.

We believe our success is built on our continual encouragement of exceptional teamwork and being respectful to others. Every single person at Hydes plays an essential part in achieving our goals. This continuous ethic makes this a great place to be part of a team and an exceptional place to work.

Based in Media City UK, Salford, we are dedicated to pub retailing and the production of cask and craft ales, throughout the estate of over 40 pubs. We employ over 700 people across the business and are proud to say that no-one is “just a number” here.
